At our next meeting, on Tuesday 21 Nov, we are looking forward to meeting Magic Me, an inter-generational arts project. They will be introducing their Decorum project, an exploration of what ‘good behaviour’ means for women in the 21st Century. And offering a creative workshop, led by two artists asking the question; How is Decorum experienced by women of different generations?

Doors will open at 7 and we aim for a 730 start, at St Margaret's House, 21 Old Ford Road, Bethnal Green, London, E2 9PL. Enter via the gate to the left of the Gallery Cafe and walk around to the garden - you will see us in the hall which is behind the Gallery Cafe.

Our next coffee morning will be on Friday 24 Nov, at Whitechapel Art Gallery, 77-82 Whitechapel High St, E1 7QX (from 11 as that is when the gallery opens).

The annual over 50's  Christmas Tea Dance for Tower Hamlets residents is on Friday 15th Dec, at the Art Pavilion in Mile End Park.  There will be live music and an afternoon of dancing, light refreshments and Christmas cheer. Tickets need to be booked in advance and there are a couple of slots for EEWI members to help out.

Another event that could be fun is at the Museum of Childhood on Thursday 7 Dec, when you can enjoy live music from harpist, Ruby Aspinall, and musician, MG Boulter whilst embellishing drawings by artist Amy Brown in the museum’s atmospheric environment. For more details click here
